MetLife Stadium ADA Seating Guide: Wheelchair Access & Companion Seats

MetLife Stadium maintains a generous complement of ADA-compliant wheelchair spaces distributed across all seating levels — the Plaza Level (100s), the Mezzanine Level (200s), and the Upper Level (300s). Each space provides a flat, paved surface for wheelchair positioning with adjacent companion seating directly beside it.

For the 2026 World Cup Final, FIFA has confirmed that ADA seating will be distributed proportionally across all ticket price tiers, ensuring accessible fans are not confined to low-visibility corners of the venue.

Sightlines from ADA positions have been specially engineered so that wheelchair users enjoy an unobstructed view of the pitch — standing crowds during goal celebrations do not block the view from the raised ADA platform areas.

Each wheelchair accessible space can accommodate up to three companion tickets purchased alongside the accessible ticket. Companions sit in standard fixed seats immediately adjacent to or directly behind the wheelchair space.

Companion tickets are priced at the same category rate as the accessible ticket. They must be purchased simultaneously through FIFA's official ticketing platform during the accessible ticket booking flow.

Companions sitting in standard fixed seats directly beside the accessible space will not obstruct the wheelchair user's view, as ADA platforms are slightly elevated above the standard seating deck.

ADA accessible tickets are booked exclusively through FIFA's official ticketing platform at tickets.fifa.com. During checkout, select the "Accessible Seating" filter in the seat map to display only wheelchair-compatible positions.

You will be required to confirm your mobility needs during checkout. FIFA uses an honor-based disclosure system — no medical documentation is required at the time of purchase, but stadium staff may verify mobility needs at entry gates on matchday.

If your accessible ticket was secured through a third-party reseller, contact FIFA's accessibility team in advance to ensure your ADA accommodations are flagged and confirmed in the system before matchday.

MetLife Stadium features elevator banks at all four major gate entry points: MetLife Gate, Verizon Gate, Bud Light Gate, and Hanes Gate. Each elevator runs from the outdoor plaza level directly to all interior concourse levels.

Dedicated ADA entry lanes are open at every gate to allow wheelchair users and their companions to bypass standard queue lines and proceed directly to accessible security screening channels.

Look for green "Accessible Entrance" signage with the international wheelchair symbol at each gate. Guest services staff in yellow vests are stationed at ADA lanes from three hours before kickoff.

Trained service dogs are fully permitted inside MetLife Stadium. Relief areas for service animals are located outside each gate, and indoor service corridors provide quiet spaces for dog needs during the match.

All public restrooms at the stadium feature fully ADA-compliant stalls with grab bars and turning radius clearance. Family restrooms with adult-sized changing tables are available on the Service Level near Section 109 and Section 225.
