Where to Drink Local Texas Craft Beer Before a Match

Food & DiningUpdated: June 2026• 25 min read

The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex has a massive, booming craft beer scene. Due to recent changes in Texas law, breweries are now allowed to operate massive taprooms, creating fantastic, communal environments perfect for pre-match gatherings. Before drinking expensive macro-lagers at the stadium, visit these local breweries.

The Deep Ellum Staple: Deep Ellum Brewing

The Dallas Blonde

Deep Ellum Brewing Co. is arguably the most famous craft brewery in Dallas. Their massive outdoor patio is heavily branded, loud, and incredibly fun. The 'Dallas Blonde' is an iconic, highly drinkable local beer, and their 'Deep Ellum IPA' is a local standard.

The Arlington Option: Division Brewing

Close to the Stadium

If you want to stay in Arlington near the stadium, Division Brewing is a fantastic, unpretentious local spot. They brew highly experimental, small-batch beers ranging from heavy stouts to sour ales. The taproom has a great, gritty neighborhood feel.

The Fort Worth Vibe: Martin House

The Pickle Beer

Located on the banks of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Martin House Brewing is famous for pushing boundaries. They created the legendary 'Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer' (a collaboration with a local pickle company). It sounds insane, but it is incredibly refreshing in the Texas heat.

The massive Campus: Community Beer Co.

The New Design District Hub

Community Beer Co. recently moved into a massive, sprawling campus in the Dallas Design District. It features an enormous biergarten, excellent food options, and their famous 'Mosaic IPA'. It is the perfect, massive venue for a large group of traveling supporters.

The Legal Warning

To-Go Sales

If you are buying local craft beer to take to your tailgate at AT&T Stadium, ensure you buy it in aluminum cans. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited in the stadium parking lots and will be confiscated by security.

World Cup 2026 Dallas Tips

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is staggeringly massive. AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, which sits directly between Dallas and Fort Worth. Arlington has zero public rail transportation. You will absolutely need to rent a car or rely heavily on expensive rideshares to get to the stadium. If you rely on Uber after a match, expect to wait over an hour in intense heat while surge pricing multiplies your fare.
