Vegan and Vegetarian Dining Near AT&T Stadium

Food & DiningUpdated: June 2026• 25 min read

Texas is famously hostile to plant-based diets, and the immediate area around AT&T Stadium in Arlington is heavily dominated by massive sports bars and fast-food chains. However, if you are willing to look carefully or drive slightly outside the immediate stadium zone, there are fantastic, highly creative vegan options available.

The Fast Food Vibe: Project Pollo

Vegan Chicken Sandwiches

While rapidly expanding, Project Pollo offers incredible, entirely plant-based chicken sandwiches, wraps, and nuggets. The texture of the 'chicken' is astonishingly accurate. It is the perfect, quick comfort food option before heading into the massive crowds at the stadium.

The Upscale Option: Kalachandji's

Vegetarian Indian in a Temple

Located in East Dallas (a drive from the stadium, but worth it), Kalachandji's is a fully vegetarian Indian buffet located inside a beautiful Hare Krishna temple. You dine in a massive, open-air courtyard surrounding a massive banyan tree. The food is incredible, peaceful, and highly restorative.

The Deep Ellum Spot: Tiki Loco

Coffee and Tacos

Located in Deep Ellum, Tiki Loco is a fantastic, casual spot that is 100% vegan. They serve excellent coffee, massive smoothies, and fantastic vegan nachos and tacos. It is a great spot for a lighter, plant-based meal before a long day of sightseeing.

The Comfort Food: Spiral Diner

Massive Vegan Portions

With locations in Fort Worth and Arlington, Spiral Diner is legendary in the DFW vegan community. It operates like a classic 1950s diner but serves exclusively vegan food. The 'bacon' cheeseburgers, massive plates of nachos, and incredible milkshakes prove that vegan food can be heavily indulgent.

Stadium Options

Inside AT&T Stadium

AT&T Stadium has vastly improved its vegan options in recent years. Look for the 'Plant-Based' carts scattered around the massive concourses. You can typically find decent vegan burgers, massive salads, and portobello mushroom tacos, though you will pay premium stadium prices.

World Cup 2026 Dallas Tips

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is staggeringly massive. AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, which sits directly between Dallas and Fort Worth. Arlington has zero public rail transportation. You will absolutely need to rent a car or rely heavily on expensive rideshares to get to the stadium. If you rely on Uber after a match, expect to wait over an hour in intense heat while surge pricing multiplies your fare.
